Really weird it's only these single file. So far if I put them in there and force a rescan, they then work perfectly fine. PS What I've done to get round it so far is to create a new folder and called it single avi torrents (name unimportant of course) then taken off indexing and made it so it's NOT read only and applied that to the folder and all subdirectories and files.

I'm using uTorrent v2 build 18488 if it's important.Īny thoughts/ideas at all? Have you (or anyone else) got a solution for this particular problem with the. avi files which are acting up this way or all? As I say Switeck, for me it's only those. So I suppose the question to ask everyone else is, are the torrents giving you this error.

avi files! Anything else at all will download without problem. What I have noticed, however, is that all the torrents which are giving me this error: access denied have one thing in common and surprisingly nobody else (?) seems to have picked up on it. I can just tell it which drive to use and create folder if I want and again, no problems - so folder permissions?

Don't know if this is still related to folder permissions or whatever (having the same problem now I'm using Windows 7 rather than XP home edition) but I have noticed one thing which puzzles me.ĪLL other torrents are working/downloading just fine - no problem at all.
